Welcome to Koi Kids; learn about koi, and watch them on camera.

Basically, this site is here for one main reason; a means to display a pretty cool webcam, which is located in a fairly large koi pond in our backyard.

When we (my dad and I) first mounted and set up the webcam, it was on a really, REALLY, cheesy handcoded (not that hand-coding is bad) webpage. That was probably 4 years ago, when I had no intentions of designing websites. Now that I do know a little about web and graphic design, I decided to make a simple, yet somewhat tasteful webpage (at least I think so).

In addition to the webcam, I did a little research on koi; proper care (don't worry, I already knew most of this stuff) and a little of their history. Their are pages for both of these topics, with some concise, yet useful information, for the koi novice, beginner, noob, etc.
